Originally from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire Emily is now based in Cornwall. A recent graduate of BA(hons) Contemporary Crafts at Falmouth University, part of The Falmouth School of Art.

 

Emily designs and builds wooden furniture working across a range of materials. Inspired by the Arts and Crafts Movement she makes historical connections using traditional and contemporary techniques adding a twist.

 

Currently Emily is looking to gain experience in the areas of furniture and wood construction, gilding and laser-cut marquetry. Alongside this she is living in and enjoying Cornwall, designing and creating new ideas.
